Sizing the opportunity
A typical metro franchised dealer in Australia carries 4,000–9,000 cold leads in the CRM. At a conservative 2–4% revival rate, that's 80–360 additional opportunities, without spending another dollar on lead acquisition.
Segmentation first
Strip the database to consenting, contactable, in-market segments. Exclude opt-outs, bounced contacts, and any record older than the consent expiry window your privacy policy commits to.
Tone matters more than offer
The best revival messages don't push a deal. They check in, reference the original vehicle of interest, and offer a low-friction next step (a virtual walk-around, an updated stock list, a service quote on the trade-in).
Throttle and learn
Run revival in cohorts of a few hundred. Measure reply rate, opt-out rate, and downstream test drive bookings. Iterate weekly. A bad revival campaign can damage brand sentiment for a quarter.
